Robert H. Hall

Robert Herman Hall, 84, of Owensville, IN, passed away at his home on February 28, 2024. He was born to the late Burrell and Emma (Sharp) Hall on February 22, 1940, in Mt. Carmel, IL.

Bob was a member of the Pipefitter Union Local 136. He was skilled with his hands, being a net builder and woodworker. He loved spending time with his numerous friends and family. He was a true river rat who loved fishing on the White River and deer hunting. In his free time, he also enjoyed shelling pecans, playing cards, telling jokes, and playing the galloping dominoes. He will be truly missed by all his special friends and family.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Barbara Hall; and siblings, Elvis Hall, Charles Hall, and Frances Youngman.

Bob is survived by his 3 children, Darren (Lori) McClellan of Elberfeld, IN, Melody Hall of Colorado, and Bobby Hall of Lake Geneva, WI; siblings, Clara Mae (Donald) Dearing of Fort Branch, IN, Patty Hall of Greenville, IL, and Mildred (James) Voight of O’Fallon, MO; grandchildren, Robert Jayson (Brandy) Hall, Allison McClellan (Tiye), Amy (Jordan) McClain, Jake Storkman, Kim (Justin) Robinson, Coleman Sheridan, Clayton Sheridan, Brady Kingston, Rochell Sterken, Nikki Hall, Matt Hall, and Meagan Hall; and great grandchild, Dayton Hall and 18 other great and great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Monday, March 4, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home with Reverend William Ping officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 3, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and again on Monday, March 4, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Committal services will be at Maumee Cemetery in Owensville, IN. Donations in his honor can be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Expressions of sympathy can be made at stodghillfuneralhome.com.
