Sandra Wilson Obituary

Sandra Sue Wilson, 81, of Haubstadt, IN, passed away at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, IN, on Sunday, April 21, 2024. She was born to the late Ralph and Stella (DeLong) Boyle on December 2, 1942, in Princeton, IN.

Sue most recently attended St. Stephen United Church of Christ. She graduated from Fort Branch High School and married her loving husband, Melvin Wilson on November 28, 1963. 

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Melvin Wilson; son, David Wilson; siblings, Norma Pharo, Bob Boyles, Gene Boyle and an infant sister; and nephew, Bobby Boyles.

Sue is survived by her son, Daniel (Hope) Wilson; grandchildren, Chastity (Travis) Curtis and Jourdan Wilson; great grandchildren, Olivia and Garrett Curtis; and nephews, Doug Boyle and Greg Boyle.

A Celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Pullum officiating. The burial will be at Asbury Cemetery in Omaha, IL, following services. Visitation will be on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, IN. Expressions of sympathy can be made at stodghillfuneralhome.com.
