Dear Spindler/Mayer Family. We were neighbors of your families west and south of Fort Branch. Always, always when neighbors needed help, your families stepped up to help or console. We were so fortunate to grow up in a neighborhood like that! I knew both Eva and Anna as we grew up. I am sorry for your loss. Your family will be in our family’s prayers.

I wish to offer my sympathy and prayers to Anna's family. When I think of her, I remember that she faithfully quilted at Holy Cross. I remember all the good recipes that are in the Holy Cross cookbook. I wished that I could have come to see you all.

Jo and Virlee, Please accept my sympathy during this time, I truly know how tough it is to loose someone, especially during the holidays. I do not know you Virlee but if Janet was living she would be the first to send condolences to you. To both of you and your families I send my love and prayers.
