I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

It was my distinct pleasure to work with Doris at Haubstadt Community School, where I grew to know the kind and caring person she was. Staff and students had a friend in Doris, whose heart was as big as her efficiency. Secretaries run schools, and she did that for all of us with such a sense of "what was right." I was proud to call her my friend as well. She will remain in my heart always as a truly good person of this world! I'm saddened for your loss.
