Doug L. Dilbeck, 59, of Haubstadt, IN, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019 at his residence. He was born on Feb. 21, 1960 in Plant City, FL to the Late William Abe Dilbeck Jr. and his mother Effie (Orange) Dilbeck who survives him.
Doug had worked as a Hotel Clerk and bookkeeper. He was a member of the Fort Branch First United Methodist Church. Doug graduated from Gibson Southern High School in 1978 and had attended IU right after high school. Doug loved Plays and Dramas, needlepoint, and crafts. He loved to play cards and board games.
He is preceded in death by his father, William Abe Dilbeck and his sister, Kathy (Dilbeck) Marvel.
Doug is survived by his Mother, Effie Dilbeck of Evansville, IN, a brother William Abe Dilbeck III. He is also survived by 2 nieces, Gayle (Josh) Sherretz and Laura (Adam) Weinzapfel both of Wadesville, IN, a nephew, Jason (JoAnn) Dilbeck of Nashville, TN.
Services for Doug will be on Friday, Oct. 25, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch. Visitation will be on Friday, Oct. 25, 2019 from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
