Larry G. Lamey, 73, of Fort Branch, Indiana, passed away at his home on Monday, September 10, 2018. He was born to the late Harold and Lorina (Sensmeier) Lamey on February 21, 1945 in Haubstadt, Indiana.
Larry was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, IN, a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge in Princeton, IN, and a Vietnam veteran for the U.S. Army National Guard. He was the co-owner of Lamey and Lamey, Inc. for 6 years and was employed by the Indiana Department of Transportation for 20 years.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Donna (Hunt) Lamey of Fort Branch, IN, 2 daughters; Jennifer (Russell) Baehl of Poseyville, IN and Kelly (Deon) Jordan of Evansville, IN, 3 brothers; Jim (Sherry) Lamey of Winslow, IN, Melvin Lamey of Winslow, IN, and Thomas (Louise) Lamey of Evansville, IN, 4 grandchildren; Alexis Lamey, Abby and Lacy Baehl, and Reese Jordan, and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Church in Fort Branch, IN with Fathers Tony Ernst and Ambrose Wanyonyi as co-celebrants. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home and again on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Holy Cross Church. Military Honors will be performed by the VFW post #2714 and American Legion post #194 immediately follow mass at Holy Cross Church. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Disabled American Veterans at www.dav.org.
