Albert L. Harpe, 76, of Fort Branch, IN. passed away on July 2, 2010 at his residence. He was born to the late Albert J. and Mildred (Johnson) Harpe on Mar. 3,1934 in Magnet, IN. He was retired from Public Service of Indiana as a utility worker and was a member of the Bethel Memorial Church in Princeton, IN. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lois A. (Shellenberger) Harpe, and 2 children, Dennis (Donna) Harpe of Fort Branch, IN, and Lois Jane (Steve) Reynolds of Henderson, KY, a brother, Robert Harpe of Tobinsport, IN, a sister, Rose Harding of Elizabeth, IN, 4 grandchildren, Heather (Kyle) DeBord, Ryan, and Craig Harpe, and Chris Reynolds, 1 great grandchild, Carter DeBord. Services will be on Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at 10:00 A.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN, burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery also in Fort Branch. Visitation will be on Monday, July 5, 2010 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Bethel Memorial Church in Princeton, IN.
