Alice L. Barrett, 91, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away in Newburgh, IN at Hamilton Pointe on Wednesday October 21, 2015. She was born on May 13, 1924 in Patoka, IN to the late Eldon and Ethel (Wise) Morrison.

She was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, IN.

Besides her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Clarence Vince Barrett in 2013, son Greg Barrett, grandson Alex Meny, sisters Margie Delong and Kate Wilson, and brother Herman Morrison.

She is survived by 7 children and their spouses, Theresa (Shelby) Marshall of Evansville, IN, Myra (Tommy) Hillerich of Louisville, KY, Steve (Mary) Barrett of Fort Branch, IN, Dennis (Jane) Barrett of Princeton, IN, Mary (Randy) Meny of Haubstadt, IN, Jeff (Joy) Barrett of Fort Branch, IN, Laura (Bill) Goedde of Haubstadt, IN, and Daughter in-law Judy Barrett of Fort Branch, IN, 1 brother Glenn (Rose) Morrison of Princeton, IN.  She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Hamilton Pointe for special care given to their mother.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Wednesday October 28, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Father Tony Ernst and Father Sudhakar Bhastati as co-celebrants. Visitation will be on Wednesday October 28, 2015 from 9:00 AM until service time at the church. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Mausoleum.
