Aloysius A. Greubel, 89, of Haubstadt, IN, passed away at his home on Oct. 5, 2011. He was born to the late Adam and Christina (Halbig) Greubel in Haubstadt, In on Jan. 19, 1922. He was a member of the St. James Catholic Church in Haubstadt, IN. Besides his parents Aloysius is preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean Greubel on July 22, 2009, and a brother, Andrew Greubel. He is survived by 3 nieces and 7 nephews. His God Daughter, Tina and Kurt Bender and their children, Heather, Holly, and Hanna, and several great and great great, Nieces and nephews.. A mass of Christian burial will be conducted on Monday, Oct. 10, 2011 at 10:00 A. M. at the St. James Catholic Church in Haubstadt, IN, with Father Kenneth Betz the celebrant, burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011 from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN, and again from 9;00 A.M. until service time at the church on Monday. A rosary will be recited by the church parish at the funeral home on Sunday at 4:00 P.M.. The family request that any donations can be made to your favorite charity in Aloysius's name.
