Alvin J. Lamey age 78, of Haubstadt, IN died at 10:50 AM on April 30, 2004 at his residence. He was born on April 8, 1926 to the late Victor and Rose (Koressel) Lamey. He was a farmer and raised cattle. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Haubstadt, The Haubstadt K of C, Knights of St. John, Haubstadt Chamber of Commerce,He loved family, friends and farming and was a avid Schuffle Board Player He is Survived by his wife of 55 years, Rita (Greubel) Lamey of Haubstadt, IN , 5 children and their Spouses: Kent and Tina Lamey of Haubstadt,IN Pam and Greg McIntyre of Haubstadt, IN Gary and Angie Lamey of Haubstadt, IN , Diane and Jr. Schillinger of Evansville, IN and Patti and Ronnie Grubb of Haubstadt, IN. One Brother, Darvin Lamey of Haubstadt, IN and 10 Grandchildren: Daniel Lamey, Christopher and Cody Schillinger Jason and Ryan McIntyre , Jennifer Baker, Shelly Wallis, Brittany Grubb, Tiffany and Cory Lamey A Mass of Christian Burial for Alvin will be on Monday May 3 2004 at !0:00 AM at the St James Catholic Church in Haubstadt with Father Kenneth Betz officiating, Burial will be in the St James Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 :00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy 168 West in Fort Branch where a prayer service will be conducted at 7:30 PM. Alvin will lie in state at the Church from 9:00 AM till service time at the church on Monday.
