Anna Louise (Freudenberg) Kempf, 97, of Fort Branch passed away surrounded by her loving family on January 20, 2025, at North River Health Campus.

Anna was born on October 3, 1927, to the late Joshua and Cora (Wagner) Freudenberg in Fort Branch.

Anna married the love of her life, Leonard Kempf on May 22, 1959. Anna loved crocheting, painting, gardening, and canning vegetables.

Anna is survived by her children, Deborah (Donald) Schloot of Sullivan, Rodney (Chris) Lang of Evansville, Neil (Terrie) Kempf of Evansville, Tony Kempf of Mackey, and Julie (Bill) Niederhaus of Haubstadt; grandchildren, Josh Lang, Chad Montgomery, Joey Lang, Seth Kempf, Meagan (Michael) Woodring, Kyle (Bree) Kempf, Will (Katelyn) Niederhaus, Nate Niederhaus, and Justin Niederhaus; great-grandchildren, Raiden, Addison, Jett, and Fitz Kempf; and siblings, Charles (Linda) Freudenberg of Haubstadt and Roy (Becky) Freudenberg of Fort Branch.

Besides her parents, Anna is preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Leonard Kempf; siblings, Robert Freudenberg, Sue DeShields, and Joanna Maikranz.

Anna's family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at North River Health Campus and the staff with Gentiva Hospice for all their care and love for Anna through her time there.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Alan Bush as officiant at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Committal will follow the service at Providence Cemetery in Francisco.
