Avis Maxine Walters, 80,of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN.  She was born to the late Elvin and Freelove (Taylor) Walters in Cynthiana , IN on July 16, 1934.

She had work as an office manager most of her life.

Avis is survived by a nephew Warren (Susan) Shaw of Louisville, KY, 4 great nieces and 1 great great niece.

A visitation will be conducted on Saturday Dec. 20, 2014 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN.  A private graveside service will be conducted later in the day.  Expressions of sympathy can be made at www.stodghillfuneralhome.com
