Betty M. Ballard, 75, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 25th, 2006 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was born on Sept. 11th, 1930 in Fort Branch, Indiana to the late Gilbert and Hazel (Jones) Kruse. Besides her parents Betty is also prececeded in Death by her husband Harold Ballard, who passed away in March of 1969. Betty is survived by 3 sisters, Delores Beard of Fort Branch, Hazel Schultheis of Haubstadt, IN, and Pauline Kiesel of Fort Branch, IN, a sister In-law Norma Heath, and special friends Lois, Annie, and Dave. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Services for Betty will be conducted on Wednesday, March 1st, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Highway 168 West in Fort Branch, IN. Reverend Steve Akins will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN. Friends may call for visitation from 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 noon at the funeral home on Wednesday March 1st, 2006. The family request donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
