Betty R. Meek, 89, of Fort Branch, IN passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Deaconess hospital in Evansville,  IN. She was born to the late Walter and Kathryn (Gray) Dilbeck in Fort Branch, IN on December 29, 1926.

Betty was a member of the Owensville First Baptist Church, Women's Auxiliary VFW post #2714, and the Women's Auxillary American Legion post #194.

She is preceded in death by her husband Dan Meek ,brothers Walter, Gerald, Paul, and William Abe Dilbeck and sisters Margaret Wallace and Virginia Wright.

She is survived by sons Dennis (Abby) Foster of Reisterstown, Maryland, Donald (Lisa) Foster of Haubstadt, IN, Darrel (Donna) Russelburg of Evansville,  IN, brother Rayburn Dilbeck of Owensville,  IN, sister Tony Becht of Canyon Lake, Texas, grandchildren Ryan (Sarah) Foster, Corey (Melissa) Foster, Jay (Amy) Foster, Amber (Charlie) Ruhl, April (Matt) Weisheit and 19 great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank West River Health Campus for the excellent care given to their mother.

Services for Betty will be Thursday September 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Stodghill Funeral Home on highway 168 in Fort Branch, IN with Pastor Bob Douglas officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday September 21, 2016 at Stodghill Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
