Betty R. Greubel, 84, of Haubstadt, IN, passed away peacefully at her residence in Haubstadt, on Tuesday, June 28, 2011. She was born on July 15, 1926, to the late, Russell Henderson and Rosella (Green) Smith in Fort Branch, IN. Betty was a member of the St.s Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt, IN. Besides her parents, Betty is also preceded in death by her husband, whom she married in 1943, Vincent F. Greubel who passed away on March of 2003. She is survived by 3 children, Larry (Janice) Greubel of Haubstadt, IN, Gary (Linda) Greubel of Fallbrook, CA, and Elise (Jim) Koester of Wadesville, IN, 6 Grandchildren, Jill (Scott) Odom, Leslie (Brad) Gebhard, Layne (Tami) Greubel, Eric (Erin) Koester, Michael Greubel, and Kimberly (Adam) Greenlee. She is also survived by 10 Great Grandchildren, 2 Step-Grandchildren, and 5 Great Step-Grandchildren A mass of Christian burial will be on Monday, July 4, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the St.s Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt, IN, Fathetr Tony Ernst will be the celebrant. Visitation will be on Sunday, from 2:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Stodghill funeral Home located on Hwy 168 west in Fort Branch, IN, and again from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the church on Monday. A rosary will be recited by the church parish on Sunday, at 6:30 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date.
