Bettye J. Garrett, 78, of Haubstadt, IN, formally of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2015 at Deaconess Hospice in Evansville, IN. She was born on Sept. 14, 1936 in Princeton, IN, to the late James B. and Lucille (Robards) Gray.

Bettye attended the Fort Branch First United Methodist Church and was a member of the Home Ec. Club.

Bettye is survived by her husband, Chet Garrett of Haubstadt, IN, a daughter Dawn Parker of Fort Wayne, IN, a son Broc Garrett of Denver, Colo, 4 grandchildren, Tara and Ryan Mabry, Corbin and  Carson Garrett.  She is also survived by 2 sisters, Mrs. Marjorie Elpers of Anderson, IN, and Phyllis Schmitt of Fort Branch, IN.

Services for Bettye will be on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 2:30 PM at the Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN with Rev. John Baylor officiating, burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN, Visitation will be on Friday June 12, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
