Billy E. Crain, 73 of Fort Branch, IN passed away on Friday, Jan. 19, 2007 at the Vista Care Center in Evansville, IN. He was born to the late Winifred and Christina (Singleton) Crain on Aug. 19, 1933 in Christopher, IL. Billy retired from Faultless Caster after 40 years of service and was a member of the South Gibson Apostolic Church. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Vera (Williams) Crain, and 2 children, Jim Crain of Fort Branch, IN, and Jean Henson of Fort Branch, IN. Also surviving is a brother, Charles Crain of St. Louis, MO., 5 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Services for Billy will be on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2007, at 2:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN, Pastor J.D. Mullens will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN. Visitation will be from 12 Noon on Wednesday until service time at the funeral home.
