Bobbie Lee Shoemaker

Bobbie Lee (Pifer) Shoemaker, age 69, of Owensville, IN, passed away at Transcendent HealthCare in Owensville on January 4, 2026. She was born on May 3, 1956, in Evansville, IN, to the late Bobbie Gene and Jenny Lee (Martin) Pifer.

Bobbie graduated from Fox Senior High School in Arnold, Missouri. She worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant at both Transcendent HealthCare in Owensville and Gibson General Hospital in Princeton for several years. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting blankets for family and friends, playing rook, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. When her sons were young, she was their Cub Scout leader.

She is survived by her children: Shelly Brewer and Scott Brewer, both of Owensville, and Josh (Jackie) Brewer of Fort Branch; her stepmother, Theresa Pifer of Englewood, FL; her grandchildren: Kendal and Dyllin Bennett, Kaylee and Colin Sokeland, Cody, Madison, and Landon Brewer, Kevin Ruff, Colton Brewer, and Kadyn Whittler; her great-grandchildren: Quentyn, Adley, Nola, Harmony, and Emberlee; siblings Jo Ellen (Lonnie) Tilley and David (Jan) Pifer, both of Arnold, MO; and stepsiblings Marlene (Mark) Porter, Charlene (Kenny) Kraft, and Cheryl Rule.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Stodghill Funeral Home with Pastor Cynthia Betz officiating. Visitation begins at noon until service time on Monday. Burial will follow at Owensville Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
