Brenda Louise Spindler, 82, of Haubstadt IN passed away on September 12, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. She was born on November 14, 1940, in Oakland City, IN to the late Howard Ott Jr. and Wanda (Garrison) Ott. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Spindler in 2012 and a grandson, Isaiah DeWeese.

Brenda was a graduate of Francisco High School, owned and operated along with her family Du-Kare Grooming for 20 years and had many interests, but she was a lover of music and loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her 4 children, Anita (Bob) Turner, Evansville, Timothy C, (Diana Rickard) Spindler, Haubstadt, Lora M. (David) Young, Haubstadt, Natalie J. DeWeese, Haubstadt, Grandchildren, Megan Stocker, Teresa (Andrew) Buchanan, Ian Payne, Amariah (Sergey) Malkin, Jessica Young, Krystian Spindler, Danielle and Luke Young, Gabrielle and Emilie DeWeese. Great grandchildren, Kai Malkin, Mason and Kayleigh Edwards. Sister, Patricia (Ron) Yockey, Fort Branch, Edward (Pat) Ott, Belleville, IL.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Donations in her honor can be made to Gibson County Animal Services.
