IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brett Allan
Lemmons
October 15, 1960 – August 3, 2024
Brett Allan Lemmons, 63, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN, on August 3, 2024. He was born to the late Jerry and Peggy (Cotner) Lemmons on October 15, 1960, in Princeton, IN.
Brett was proud to have worked for Emge Meat Packing for several years and was formerly an engineer for CSX for 15 years. He most recently worked as a wastewater operator for the Town of Fort Branch for the last 3 years. He was also an associate member of the Fort Branch VFW post 2714 where he loved helping with the spot shooting events. Brett took an enormous amount of pride in being a resident of the town of Fort Branch and truly cared about the town. He was a caring and generous man that was willing to drop anything to help someone. He always went out of his way to help and was an extremely hard worker. When he wasn't being meticulous about his lawn, he enjoyed spot shooting, playing washers, cornhole, and was always ready to tell a story if you'd listen.
Brett is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Teresa Lemmons of Fort Branch; sons, Brad (Amanda) Lemmons of Henderson, KY and Jeff Lemmons of Princeton; step-daughter, Misty (Zach) Myers of Patoka; mother-in-law, Rose Mary (Nick Nelson) Barrett of Princeton; mother of his children, Vanessa (Danny) Huntzinger of Huntingburg; grandchildren, Ally, Mackenzie, Emma and Nate Davis; 8 great grandchildren, and his beloved dog, Bella Rose.
