Carroll Dana Patterson, 57, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Nov. 13th, 2011 at his residence in Fort Branch. He was born to the late, Harry Patterson and Vonda Jean (Sheppard) Kell in Princeton, IN on Dec. 8, 1953. He served in the U.S. Army from 1972 until 1975 and was a member of the Fort Branch VFW Aux. Post # 2714. He was a self employed carpenter. Dana is survived by his brother Dave Patterson of Evansville, IN, and a half brother Tommy Patterson of Hammond, LA, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. There will be no visitation at the Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, the body will be cremated. A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, Nov. 18, 2011 at the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN at 2:00 P.M., with Rev. Art Christmas officiating and the Fort Branch VFW Post # 2714, and Haubstadt American Legion Post # 194 will conduct military services. The family request in lieu of any flowers that donations be made to the Fort Branch VFW Post #2714.
