Catherine Maxine Williams, 95, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton, IN, on July 10, 2024. She was born to the late Carlos Sr. and Fay (Wilkens) Riley on October 22, 1928, in Sommerville, IN.

Catherine was a member of the Enon General Baptist Church in Princeton. She worked for Cora Harper making custom drapery, worked retail on the square in Princeton, and was a homemaker. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, a board member for the GCARC, and a member of the Home Ec club in Fort Branch. In her free time, she enjoyed making quilts for the children at Riley Children's Hospital and St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Besides her parents, Catherine is preceded in death by her husband, Ora Willams in 2018; a sister, Elizabeth Williams; and a brother, Carlos Riley, Jr.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Pam Wade of Fort Branch and Sandy (David) Benefiel of Oakland City; a brother, Don (Sara Etta) Riley of Francisco; 2 grandchildren, Nathan Wade and Brittney (Tyler) Walls; and 2 great grandchildren, Emily Grace and Brooklyn Kate Walls.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch with Pastor Ken Reeder officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Committal services and burial will be held at Providence Cemetery in Francisco.
