Chandler LeShane Martin, 25, of Owensville, IN, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. He was born to Darin Martin and Kelly (Tretter) Hobson on May 1, 1996, in Evansville, IN.

Chandler was baptized at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt, IN. He was a concrete finisher and a member of the Laborers Union 561. He loved racing dirt bikes and fishing with friends and family. His son Braxton and daughter Carmen were the loves of his life.

He is survived by his parents, Darin (Aimee) Martin of Owensville, IN and Kelly (Mike) Hobson of Haubstadt, IN; children, Braxton and Carmen Martin; siblings, Austin (Haley Nelson) Martin of Fort Branch, IN, Kollin and Kolton Martin of Haubstadt, IN, Daniel (Megan) Hipp of Owensville, IN, Megan (Clay) Campbell of Owensville, IN, and Garrett Martin of Owensville, IN; maternal grandparents, Dean (Sue Ellen) Tretter of Fort Branch, IN and Pat (Gary Sisk) Tretter of Fort Branch, IN; paternal grandparents, Bill and Nancy Martin of Fort Branch, IN and Vincent and Carol Gwaltney of Poseyville, IN; and aunts, uncles ,nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Services will be on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch with Father Christopher Droste as celebrant. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 15, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Stodghill Funeral Home. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a trust fund for Braxton and Carmen Martin.
