Charles Will Atteberry, 87, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Friday, Feb. 8, 2008 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born on Feb. 4, 1921 in Fort Branch, IN to the late Lawrence P. and Mary F.(Hickrod) Atteberry. Charles owned the Marathon and auto repair shop in Fort Branch, along with a John Deere Dealership. He was a member of the Fort Branch Masonic Lodge #696 and the Evansville Scottish Rite. Charles is survived by his wife, Vernede (Neufelder) Atteberry and 3 children, Tamara Dyer of Ft. Wayne IN, Marcia Callis of Martinsville, IN, and Barbara Richardson of Benicia, CA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Zane Callis, Tara (Callis) Estell, Leah Callis, Scott Dyer, Melissa (Dyer) Burke, Adam Richardson, Cari Ann Richardson, and 5 great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be conducted by Jack Dyer at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008 at the Stodghill Funeral Home located at Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Food Pantry or to your favorite charity.
