Charles Allen Conway, 7, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away at his home on Monday, August 22, 2022. He was born to Abigail Conway on December 17, 2014, in Owensboro, KY.

Charlie was born with a congenital heart defect called hypoplastic left heart syndrome. Despite his struggles, he lived a fun meaningful life. He attended kindergarten and first grade at Fort Branch Community School where he loved to play buddy ball. His favorite things include hot chips, spiderman, and his blanky. He is deeply loved by his family and will be truly missed.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Abigail Conway and Zachary Patmore of Fort Branch, IN; sister, Dakota Conway; stepbrother, Laken Patmore; grandparents, Charles and Jenny Conway of Cannelton, IN; Julie Swanner of Arizona,  great grandparents, Brenda and Larry Conway and Carolyn and Gary Goffinet all of Cannelton, IN; uncle, Jake Conway of St. Charles, MO; and Gabriel Swanner if Arizona; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Services will be private per request of the family. Donations in his honor can be made to the National Organization for Rare Diseases, www.rarediseases.org, to help further research for hypoplastic left heart syndrome and other rare diseases.
