Charlotte C. (Bates) Kuester, 102, of Princeton, IN, passed away on Wednesday December 30, 2015 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home.  She was born to the late Norman and Ruth (Pierce) Bates on March 14, 1913 in Princeton, IN.

Besides her parents, Charlotte is also preceded in death by her husband, Edwin (Casey) Kuester, and a brother Robert Bates

Charlotte was a member of St. Lucas United Church of Christ in Fort Branch, IN., and was active in the St. Lucas Ladies Aid Guild.  She was retired from Hansen Mfg. after 12 and a half Years of service.

Charlotte is survived by 2 children David (Linda) Kuester of La Fontaine, IN and Connie (Jerry) Wilson of Fort Branch, IN, 3 grandchildren Lt. Col. Chris (Missy) Kuester of Huntingtown, MD, Jonathon ( Selena) Kuester of East Dundee, IL, and Ruth Ann Wilson of Fort Branch, IN, and 4 great grandchildren Abigail, Cohen, Trevette and Guthrie Kuester, and also survived by 2 nephews, Joe and William Robert Bates.

Services will be conducted on Saturday January 2, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Stodghill Funeral Home located in Fort Branch on Highway 168 West, where Pastor John Heumann will be officiating.  Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Princeton, IN.  Visitation will be on Saturday, January 2, 2016, from 12:00 PM until service time. The family request that any donations be made to the St. Lucas Ladies Aid Guild.
