Christian Leon Weber, 38, of Fort Branch, passed away at home peacefully with his family. Born to Gerald and Elizabeth (Wehmer) Weber on November 30, 1986, in Evansville, Christian pursued various interests throughout his life. He was an active participant with the Arc of Gibson County, attending daily and appreciating both the transit experience and time spent among peers. Known for his unconditional love of others as well as his sociable nature, he valued opportunities to engage with acquaintances and enjoyed the company of friends and relatives. In earlier years, his hobbies included swimming, horseback riding, and swinging.
He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Christian and Mary Frances (Holzmeyer) Wehmer, and paternal grandparents, Sylvester and Mary Geneva (Scott) Weber.
Survivors include his parents, Gerald and Elizabeth Weber of Fort Branch; siblings, Ryan (Jessica) Weber of Haubstadt, Jerrad (Kasci) Weber of Darmstadt, and Susan (John) Fischer of Fort Branch; nieces and nephews, Kaitlin, Sydney, Rylan, Kaleb, Rolen, Mylo, Felix, Wiley Weber, Ava, and Emma Fischer; as well as several aunts and uncles.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., preceded by a recitation of the rosary at 3:30 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch. Additional visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the church, with a recitation of the rosary commencing at 10:30 a.m.
Christian's family would like to thank Easter Seals for their special care of him through the years. They would also like to thank the Arc of Gibson County for welcoming him into their beautiful community and family for the past 16 years as well as Gentiva Hospice for their excellent care during Christian's final days.
