Constance Joan Brooks, 84, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. She was born in Madison, IN, to Graham and Viona (Locke) Bright on December 14, 1938.

Constance was a member of the New Life Nazarene Church in Princeton. She grew up in the church where her father pastored. She loved her Lord and was a true prayer warrior. She married the love of her life, Glenn Brooks, on December 31, 1957, and they had 2 beautiful children together. She enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, going on adventures to different places, watching the hummingbirds and ladybugs, and serving on the Hickory Grove Great Banquet.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by 3 great grandchildren.

Constance is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Glenn Brooks of Princeton, IN; children, Mark (Lisa) Brooks of Sullivan, IN and Pam (Tony) Hurst of Princeton, IN; brother, Graham "Chip" (Marilyn) Bright of Fort Branch, IN; and grandchildren, Faith Hurst, Brooke (Casey) Price, Mark Brooks, Jr., Wynter (Jerold) Wilcox, and Madison (Rob) Hurst.

The family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to Nicole and Megan from Intrepid Hospice for all the loving care they gave.

Graveside services will be on Sunday, June 11,2023, at 1:30 p.m. at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN, with Pastor Kevin McGinnis officiating. Expressions of sympathy can be made at stodghillfuneralhome.com.
