Daniel W. Smith Sr. 49, of Pana, IL., formally of Fort Branch, IN., passed away on Monday, Dec. 24, 2007 in Pana. He was born on June 20, 1958 in Princeton, IN to William E. and Virginia (Strain) Smith of Fort Branch, IN . Danny is preceded in death by his brother James E. Smith in 1994 Besides his parents Danny is survived by 2 children, Daniel W. Smith Jr. and Brandon Cole Smith both of Fort Branch, IN., 2 brothers Fred Smith of Haubstadt, IN and William E. Smith Jr. of Fort Branch, IN. He is also survived by 1 grandchild. Services for Danny will be on Friday, Dec. 28th, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN, with burial in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch. Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. The family request that donations can be made to the Daniel W.
