Daniel R. Yancey, Sr., 61, passed away Wednesday June 29, 2016 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. He was born to James and Rose Ann (Helfurt) Yancey in Evansville, IN on March 28, 1955.

Daniel is preceded in death by his father James Yancey.

He is survived by his mother Rose Ann Yancey, his loving wife Debra (Douglas) Yancey of Fort Branch, IN, sons Daniel (Candy) Yancey, Jr. of Fort Branch, IN, and Kevin (Lana) Yancey of Haubstadt, IN, brother Jim (Amanda) Yancey, Jr. of Henderson, KY, sister Susan (Arthur) Gibbs of St. Joseph, IN, and 5 grandchildren Mason, Ethan, Aubrey, Austin, and Nevin Yancey.

Services will be on Monday July 4, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Stodghill Funeral Home on Highway 168 in Fort Branch, IN with Pastor John Huemann officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday July 3, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again from 9:00 AM until service time on Monday. Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN.
