Darvin B. Besing, , 70, of Haubstadt, IN passed away on , Sept 27, 2014 at the Heritage Center in Evansville, IN. He was born to the late Orville H. and Anna K. (Musgrave) Besing on Jan. 11, 1944 in Haubstadt, IN. Darvin was retired from the Evansville School Corporation, where he taught for 32 and half years. He was a member of the Indiana Teachers Association and the Evansville Retired Teachers Association. He was a lifelong member of the St. Stephens Community Church in Warrenton, IN He is survived by his wife Barbara J. (Woolever) Besing of Haubstadt, IN, 4 children, Jennifer Hill of Haubstadt, IN, Elizabeth A. Besing of Evansville, IN, Daniel E. Besing of Evansville, IN, and Stephanie Besing of Haubstadt, IN, 1 brother, Gerald A. Besing of Evansville, IN, and 3 grandchildren, Kyle and Anna Hill, and Noah Lynn. Services for Darvin will be on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the St. Stephens Community Church in Warrenton, IN. Visitation will be on Monday, Sept. 29, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN, and again from 12:00 PM until service time at the church on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to the St. Stephens Community Church.
