David F. Hasselbrinck, 81, of Princeton, IN, passed away at Community Heart and Vascular Hospital in Indianapolis, IN, on May 17, 2024. He was born to the late Fred and Evelyn (Klusmeier) Hasselbrinck on January 17, 1943, in Princeton, IN.

David was a member of St. Lucas United Church of Christ in Fort Branch. He worked for many years at the Princeton Phone Company as a supervisor. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking and gardening flowers and vegetables.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Norma (Collins) Hasselbrinck; his daughter, Diane Lee; and his sister, Janet Wheeler.

David is survived by his son, Danny (Bonnie) Hasselbrinck of Princeton, IN; twin sister, Mavis (Terry) Kruse of Fort Branch, IN; sister, Phyllis Patterson of Princeton, IN; and grandchildren, Hannah, Kaleb, Colin, and Brian Hasselbrinck.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home with Pastor Tonya Schmitz officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, May 20, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. The burial will be at St. Lucas Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN, following services. Donations in his honor can be made to St. Lucas United Church of Christ.
