David Keith Ising, 75, of Fort Branch IN passed away at his home on September 17, 2024. He was born on July 21,1949 in Evansville, IN. to the late Verlis and Marcella (Pelaski) Ising.

Dave was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a member of St. James Catholic Church and Plant Manager at Wilbert Vault Company in Fort Branch for over 52 years. He was a member of the V.F.W #2714, American Legion # 462, an Associate Member of the Indiana Sheriffs Association. Dave was a big lover of Fort Branch and started the Flags on Locust Street in town, a member of Community Pride in Fort Branch, and participated in the F.O.P. cookouts. His joys in life included work, his family, feeding people, animals and putting on "Doingsins" for family and friends.

Besides his parents Dave is preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen (Klump) Ising;  sister, Merriam (Mac) Riley, and brothers Phillip and Ron Ising.

He is survived by his brother, Mark (Susie) Ising of Princeton; sisters-in-law, Linda Ising of Fort Branch and Kathy Ising of Evansville; and nieces and nephews, Amy (John) Goddard, Brian (Katie) Klump, Jamie (Brian) Shelton, Jeremy (Shannon) Klump, Jeff (Kayce) Klump, Justin (Katie) Klump, Craig Seib, Clint (Brittney) Seib, Mackenzi (Phil) Buening, Tiffany (Gary) Hughes, Christopher Ising, Joshua (Roxanne) Hyatt, Andrea (Michael) Dittalo, Tammy (Greg) Shaw, Sherri Wright, Randy Baugh, Kathy Jones; great niece, Savanah Giles and great great niece, Acia Giles.

Visitation will be on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch and again from 10:00 A.M. to service time on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Services will be on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Father Kenneth Betz as celebrant. Military honors will be performed by The Veterans of Gibson County at St. James Cemetery in Haubstadt, where there will also be committal services.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St. James Catholic Church.
