David W. Weber, 82, of Fort Branch passed away at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born on July 23, 1941, to the late Sylvester and Mary (Scott) Weber in Princeton IN.
Besides his parents he is preceded by siblings, Janet Beckett, Anna Catherine McEllhiney, and Ralph Weber; brother in laws, Pete Williamson, Arnold Michel, John Koehler, and Don Allen; and sister-in-law, Joyce Weber.
David was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. He worked for over 39 years for Emge Meat Packing, was a farmer and worked at K& I Lumber.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years Polly (Smith) Weber of Fort Branch, IN, 3 children; Kelly (Steve) Paddick of Lawrenceville IL, Kent (Sally) Weber of Newburgh, IN, and Rachel (Brad Snyder) Chism of Fort Branch, IN; siblings; Mary Lou Michel of Fort Branch, IN, Doris Koehler of Evansville, IN, Judy (Leo) Neufelder of Fort Branch, IN, Steve (Jean) Weber of Arizona, Jerry (Betty Sue) Weber of Fort Branch, IN, Eddie (Dottie) Weber of Santa Claus, IN, Jim (Monica) Weber of Fort Branch, IN, Danny (Brenda) Weber of Terre Haute, IN, Kenny (Barb) Weber of Connecticut, Bob Weber of Fort Branch, IN, Wayne (Judy) Weber of Fort Branch, IN, Genevieve (Jim) Lubbers of Evansville, IN, and Rosie Allen of Bloomington, IN; 1 granddaughter, Elliot Chism; and 6 step grandchildren; Jagger, Annie, and Elle Slaats, and Matt, Jared, and Stevi Paddick.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Holy Cross Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. with Jerry Weber officiating. Expressions of sympathy can be made at stodghillfuneralhome.com.
