Deanna (Mimi) Lynn Wilson, 68, of Fort Branch, passed away on August 1, 2025, at Heart to Heart Hospice House, surrounded by her devoted family. Born on August 8, 1956, in Princeton, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Evelyn (Schuessler) Graper.
Deanna married Rick Wilson on October 9, 1976. She earned an Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy from Indiana State University Evansville and held a variety of positions throughout her career, including stay-at-home mother and co-owner of Wilson Network Services, before retiring from Ascension St. Vincent. Her interests included sewing, gardening, canning, exploring covered bridges, knitting, train rides, camping, attending various events of her several nieces and nephews, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
A dedicated volunteer, Deanna served with 4-H for 45 years, led the Port Gibson Pioneers 4-H Club, contributed to the Fort Branch Little League with the concession stands and Olen & Inez G Pumphrey Foundation board, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fort Branch.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, John David Straight; and her niece, Deidra Potts. Deanna is survived by her husband of 48 years, Rick Wilson; three children: Scott Wilson of Fort Branch, Rachel (Robbie) Hollis of Evansville, and Jennifer (Matt) Candler of Vincennes; six grandchildren: Bailey Wilson, Jada James, Blaire Hollis, Avery Candler, Morgan Hollis, and Cole Hollis; four siblings: Donna (Doug) Potts of Newburgh, Diana (Steve) Dycus of Princeton, Donald R. (Lisa) Graper of Fort Branch, and Debra (Jay) Stevens of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, with Pastor Randy Anderson officiating. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Fort Branch or Heart to Heart Hospice. Online condolences may be shared at stodghillfuneralhome.com.
