Delores G. Beard, 76, of Fort Branch, IN., passed away on Monday, Sept. 8, 2008 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton, IN. She was born to the late Gilbert and Hazel (Jones) Kruse on June 12, 1932 in Fort Branch. She was a member of the Fort Branch VFW Post 2714 Ladies Auxiliary. Besides her parents Delores is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Betty Ballard, and Genevieve Molina, and a grand Daughter, Tara Reed. She is survived by her husband Ray Beard and 4 children, Darlene Purcell, Connie Reed, Tim Hickrod, all of Fort Branch, and Tracy Beard of Evansville, IN.,. She is also survived by 6 Grand Children and 6 Great Grandchildren. Services for Delores will be on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, Reverend Steve Akins officiating, burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family request any donations be made to the American Heart Association.
