Dolores R. Vaughn, 77, of Haubstadt, IN. passed away at her residence on Monday, Dec. 28th, 2009. She was born to the late Urban and Marie (Hillenbrand) Lamey, on Aug. 5th, 1932 in Haubstadt, IN. Dolores attended St. James Catholic Church in Haubstadt, and retired from the Emge Meat Packing Co. in 1990. Besides her parents she is also preceded in death by a son David K. Vaughn. She is survived by a daughter Judy (Tony) Hipp of Haubstadt and a son, Shawn Vaughn also of Haubstadt; 2 sisters and 1 brother, Bernie Burger, and Norma Regener both of Haubstadt, and Robert Lamey of Ontario, CA. she is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Isaac Lewis, Megan, and Daniel Hipp. A mass of Christian burial will be on Saturday, Jan. 2nd 2010 at St. James Catholic Church at 11:30 A.M., the rosary will be recited prior to mass at the church. Father Kenneth Betz will be the celebrant, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday morning, Jan. 2nd, 2010 from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN. The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the St. James Catholic Church or to the Gibson County Animal Services.
