Donald Howard Cash, 86, formerly of Owensville, IN, passed away on April 12, 2025, at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, IN. He was born on August 3, 1938, in Evansville, IN, to the late Howard and Dorothy (Faith) Cash.

Donald was a 1957 graduate of Cynthiana High School. He entered the United States Air Force in 1958, where he served for eight years as an airplane mechanic. On May 24, 1959, he married the love of his life, Beverly King, and together they raised two beautiful children.

He worked as a millwright at Alcoa for 27 years before retiring. Donald was a member of Owensville General Baptist Church and, in recent years, attended Bethel Memorial Church in Princeton. He was also a proud member of American Legion Post #44 in Newburgh, IN.

In his free time, he enjoyed golfing and coaching youth sports in Fort Branch. Above all, he had a deep love for his family and took great joy in watching his granddaughters play softball.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Karen Ripple, Anthony Cash, and Larry Cash.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Beverly Cash of Evansville; his children, Dawn (Joe) Villines of Lake Placid, FL, and Michael (Angie) Cash of Greenwood, IN; and his grandchildren, Aubrey Villines and Kaelin Cash.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home, with Pastor Kevin Wilson officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN. Military Honors will be conducted prior to burial at Owensville Cemetery by the Veterans of Gibson County.
