Donald Keith Cauthen, 70, of Owensville, IN., passed away at Deaconess Hospice Care in Evansville, IN. He was born on Nov. 5th, 1938 in Haleyville, Alabama to the late William Glenn and Katie (McCullar) Cauthen. He was retired as a supervisor at the Emge Meat Co in Fort Branch. He was a member of the Owensville First Baptist Church in Owensville, IN. Don was also a member of the Fort Branch Masonic Lodge #696, the Evansville Scottish Rite, and the Evansville Hadi Shrine. Don is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann (Upchurch) Cauthen, 7 children, Cindy Lynn of. Muncie, IN., Phillip Cauthen of Evansville, IN., Al Cauthen of Elkart, IN., Phyllis Hyneman of Hazelton, IN., Toni Pearson of Double Springs, Ala., Kenny Windsor of Indianapolis, IN. and Phil (P-nut) Windsor of Owensville, IN.. He is also survived by 1 sister, Frances Blanton of Haleyville, Ala., and 12 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Services for Don will be on Wednesday, Oct. 14th, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN., Reverend Bob Douglas will be officiating, burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN.. Visitation will be on Tuesday, Oct. 13th, 2009 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family ask that in lieu of Flowers donations be made to the Methodist Transplant Center or to the Deaconess Hospice.
