Doris June Schaefer, 82, of Fort Branch, IN., passed away on Oct. 24th, 2007, at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton, IN. She was born on August 2nd, 1925 in Princeton, IN. to the late George and Ethel (Elmendorf) Kuester. Doris was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, IN. She is survived by her husband Paul an son David (Debbie) Schaefer of Fort Branch, IN and 2 grandchildren, Stephanie Coy and Christopher Schaefer, 3 great grandchildren, Shelby Schaefer, Alexis Coy, and Ava Coy. A mass of Christian burial will be conducted on Monday, Oct.29th, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, IN., Fathers Tony Ernst and Gary Kaiser will be the celebrants. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, Oct. 28th, 2007 from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN, where a rosary will be recited by the church parish at 5:00 P.M. on Sunday evening at the funeral home. The family request that any donations be made to the Holy Cross School.
