Elmer P. Stunkel, 89 of Haubstadt, IN, passed away on Monday, Dec. 29, 2003 at St Marys Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born June 19, 1914 to the late Carl H. and Hulda M. (Klusmeier) Stunkel. He is Preceded in death by his wife Katherine(Shumacher) Stunkel in 1995 a daughter Jeanette Greubel in 1993 a Grandson Justin Tyler Adamson in 1990 and brothers and sisters: Elsa, Mildred, Eunice, Lorrena, Mable, Robert, Norman,Raymond, Orvil and Carlos. He was a member of the St Stephens United Church of Christ and retired from Adams and Morrow and was a farmer. Elmer is survived by 1 daughter Helen and Charlie Adamson of Haubstadt, IN Son-in-law Ken Greubel of Princeton, In and Grand Children Jeff and Carrie Adamson, Eric Adamson, Jon Adamson of Haubstadt,IN and Darrin and Sherri Greubel of Newnan Georgia. Great GrandChildren Jordan and Lyndsi Adamson, Marissa and Milon Greubel. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 1, 2004 at the St. Stephens United Church of Christ in Haubstadt, IN with the Reverend Steve Oeth officiating. Friends may call from 3 to 8 PM Wednesday December 31, 2003 at the Stodghill Funeral Home Located on HWY 168 West in Fort Branch, IN, and again at the Church from 9:00 am until service time on Thursday. Burial will be in the church cemetery. In Lieu of flowers contributions maybe made to the St. Stephens United Church of Christ.
