Emily Y. Hayhurst, 77 of Haubstadt, IN, formally of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2013 in Grayville, IL.  She was born on Jan. 4, 1936 in Effingham, IL.

Emmy was a member of the Fort Branch VFW Post #2714 Women's Aux., The Red Hat Society, and Psi Iota Xi Sorority.  She attended the Bethel Memorial Church in Princeton, IN.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Lowell Hayhurst of Haubstadt, a daughter and her husband, Lola and Terry Graham, 2 brothers, Marvin Levitt of California, and Dale Levitt of Illinios.  She is preceded in death by her sister Betty  Bush and adoptive parents, Daniel and Ina Sweazy.

Services for Emmy will be on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Bethel Memorial Church in Princeton, IN, with Pastor Kevin Wilson officiating.  Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN.  Visitation will be on Monday, July 15, 2013 from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.  The family request that donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Fund or the Bethel Memorial Church.  Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN is in charge of arrangements.
