Eva Lena Thompson, 90, of Owensville, IN passed away at Transcendent Health Care in Owensville, IN. She was born to the late Thurlo and Edna (Kemper) Hurt on June 22, 1926 in Evansville, IN.

Lena was a member of the Owensville Methodist Church and loved doing Missionary work. She married her loving husband Tarrell Thompson on July 10, 1946.

Besides her parents, Lena is preceded in death by brothers and sisters Mary Jane Hurt, Yrma Chumley, Lowell Hurt, Rev. Cecil Hurt, William Hurt, Cletus Hurt, and Denzil Hurt.

She is survived by her loving Husband of 70 years, Tarrell Thompson of Owensville, IN, children Annetta Prieshoff of Owensville, IN, Ronald Thompson of Butlerville, IN, David Thompson of Crawfordsville, IN grandchildren Justin Daniel and Houston Thompson, Jacob Tarrell Prieshoff, great grandchildren Adrian Daniel and Havic Jaalix Thompson, sister Priscilla Baggett of Evansville, IN, brothers David Hurt of Newburgh, IN, and Jack Hurt of Louisville, KY. .

Services will be on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Stodghill Funeral Home located on highway 168 in Fort Branch, IN. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN.
