Evelyn, 84, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2003 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was born on February 14, 1919 in Galatia, IL. to the late Joseph and Tessie (Harwood) Carter Besides her parents Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband, Josiah DeLong in 1987, 6 Great Grandchildren, Bradley, Daniel, Matthew, and Allie Dodson, Kyle Helm and Robert Willima Helm II Also preceding her are 10 Brothers and sisters. She is survived by 4 children and their spouses, Jo Ann and Kenny Dill of Fort Branch, IN, Dennis and Barbara DeLong of Fort Branch, IN, Mark and Lori DeLong of Princeton, IN, and Darrel and Donna DeLong of New Harmony, IN. Also surviving are 16 Grandchildren and 31 Great Grandchildren. Services for Evelyn are on Monday, December 1, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 west in Fort Branch, IN. with burial in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN. Reverend Don Swanson will officiate. Friends may call for visitation from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home on Sunday November 30, 2003.
