Faye Sheridan, 94, of Haubstadt, IN, passed away on April 15, 2025. She was born to the late Harry and Belva (McClure) Mills on March 23, 1931, in Winslow, IN. Faye graduated from Princeton High School in 1948. She married Charles F. Sheridan and had seven children. She became a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt and was a member of the Daughters of Isabella for 47 years. After raising her family, she followed her passion for reading by becoming the librarian of the Haubstadt Public Library. For over 25 years she actively encouraged people of all ages to read. She was a dedicated supporter of Right to Life and the Baby Box. She provided a loving and nurturing home for her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Charles F. Sheridan, who passed away in 2019, and her siblings Bill Mills, George Mills, and Donnie Mills. Faye is survived by her children Lisa (Bill) Schneider, Lynn (Mike) Baumgart, Phil (Cinda Vote) Sheridan, Peter (Enrique Blanco) Sheridan, David (Josie) Sheridan, Bonnie (C. Michael) Coghlan, and Stuart (Gina) Sheridan, twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren, one of whom was born on her 90 th birthday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on May 9, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Andrew Thomas as the celebrant. Visitation will take place on May 9, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. until Mass begins at 11:00, followed by the burial at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Following the graveside service, a Celebration of Life and meal will be hosted at the Knights of St. John in Haubstadt.
