Frank Garrett Jr, 93, of Owensville, IN passed away at North River Health Campus on June 26, 2024, surrounded by his family.  Frank was born on May 30, 1931, in Princeton IN to the late Frank Garrett Sr and Alice (Montgomery) Garrett.

Frank worked for Duke Energy as a yardman supervisor, was a graduate of the Owensville High School in 1950, a Korean War Veteran of the Airforce, a member of the Owensville Methodist Church where he was a member of the Men's Club and a member of the Owensville American Legion #51 and the V.F.W. Post #2714. He enjoyed vegetable gardening, and woodworking making canes and porch swings and devotions each morning

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Carol Jane (Huey) Garrett, infant daughter, Kathy Jane Garrett and his brother, Robert (Mac) McFarland Garrett.

He is survived by his children, Monte Kirk Garrett, Owensville, and Jane Ellen (Michael) Conn, Douglasville, GA, Niece, Cruzan (Roy) Kissel and Nephew, Broc (Karen) Garrett, 5 great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Sunday, June 30, 2024, from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. at Stodghill Funeral Home and following a graveside service at Benson Cemetery with military honors by the Veterans of Gibson County will be at 2:30 P.M.  Pastor Marsha Bishop will officiate.

In lieu of flowers donations maybe made to the V.F.W. Post #2714 in Franks honor.
