Gary L. Lamey, 58, of Haubstadt, IN. passed away at his residence on Friday, Nov. 28, 2008. He was born to the late Alvin Lamey and Rita Mae (Greubel) Lamey on Jan. 26, 1950 in Princeton, IN. Gary was a retired farmer and was a member of the St. James Catholic Church in Haubstadt. He graduate in 1968 from Haubstadt High School and married his wife of 35 years Angela Sollman on Sept. 1, 1973. He is survived by his wife Angela Lamey, his mother Rita Lamey of Haubstadt, IN., 1 son and his wife Daniel Kent (Macy) Lamey of Haubstadt, IN., 1 granddaughter, MiKayla Lamey of Haubstadt, IN., 1 brother and 3 sisters, Kent (Tina) Lamey of Haubstadt, IN., Pam (Greg) McIntyre of Haubstadt, IN., Diane (Carl Jr.) Schillinger of Evansville, IN., and Patti (Ronnie) Grubb of Haubstadt, IN.. He is also survived by his Mother and Father In-Law, Marlin and Eljean Sollman of Haubstadt, IN., and several nieces and nephews. A mass of Christian burial will be on Wed., Dec. 3, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. James Catholic Church in Haubstadt, Fathers Kenneth Betz and John Boeglin will be the celebrants. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008 from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Highway 168 West in Fort Branch, IN., and again on Wed. at the church from 9:00 A.M. until service time. The family request that donations be made to the St. James Catholic Church.
