George E. Conner George E. Conner, 76, of Princeton, IN, formally of Fort Branch, IN., passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at the Deaconess Hospice in Evansville, IN.. He was born on Nov. 14, 1931 in Princeton, IN. to the late Bud and Francis (Buhr) Conner and has resided in Princeton for the past 2 years. George was a Korean War veteran and was a member of the Haubstadt American Legion Post # 194. He was retired from Whirlpool Corp. in Evansville, IN. He is preceded in death by 1 son, Daniel E. Conner, who passed away on April 27, 1992, 1 great grandchild Kane Tucker, 2 sisters, Elsie Piazza,and Margaret Highfield, and 2 brothers, Robert and Charles Conner. George is survived by 4 children and their spouses, John (Jacey) Conner, Sherry Conner, George Dean Conner, all of Princeton, IN, and Tammy (Terry)Moore of Boonville, IN. He is also survived by 1 brother and 2 sisters, Gene Conner of Beecher IL., Mildred Goss of Vincennes, IN., and Patricia Mundinger of Pennsicola, FL.. Also, 4, grandchildren, and,6 great grandchildren. Service for George will be on Friday, April 18, 2008, at 11:00 A.M., at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN, with Pastor Larry Stephenson officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN. Visitaion will be on Thursday, April 17, 2008 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family request that any donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
