George M. Watkins, 87, of Fort Branch, IN passed away on June 17, 2013 at the Transcendant Health Care in Owensville, IN.  He was born to the late Melville and Ida (Humphrey) Watkins on May 8, 1926 in Hornersrun, WV.

George was a Retired Contractor for Roberts and Schaefer Construction, a Veteran of WWII and a member of the Fort Branch VFW Post #2714.

George is survived by his wife, Patsy (Finney) Watkins,2 children, Sharon McCauley of Novi, MI and Jeffrey Watkins of Peculiar, MO, Stepchildren, Don Barrett of Fort Branch IN and Brad Barrett of Owensville, IN and 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Graveside Services for George will be on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Walnut Hill Cemetery, in Fort Branch, IN. Stodghill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
