Obituary

Georgia A. Bryant, 63, of Haubstadt, IN, formally of Fort Branch and Princeton, IN passed away on Saturday, Mar. 5, 2011 at her residence after a long illness. She was born to the late George and Jean (McLamore) Sylvia on July 27, 1947 in Evansville, IN. She was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church, where she taught sunday school,and where she also played and directed the church choir. She also enjoyed knitting with her many church friends. Georgia is survived by her husband, Jim Bryant of Haubstadt, IN, 3 children Christopher (Monica) Bryant of Fort Branch, IN, Gayle M. (David) Lewis of Fort Branch, IN, and Jason A. (Brandy) Bryant of Haubstadt, IN, 8 grandchildren Hannah, Owen, and Riley Bryant, Jesse and Thomas Lewis, Noah, Gabe, and Tessa Bryant, 1 step-grandchild, Paige Lewis, her step mother, Windler Sylvia of Evansville, IN, 1 brother, Richard Coomer of Las Vegas, NV, 2 sisters, Kathy Sylvia of Kuttawa, KY, Sheila Sylvia of Evansville, IN, and a special aunt, Irene Callis. Services for Georgia will be on Wednesday, Mar. 9, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN, Rev. Danny Walker and Rev. Jarmon Perkins will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN. Visitation will be on Tuesday, Mar. 8, 2011 from 4 PM until 8 PM at the funeral home. The family request that donations be made to the Centenary United Methodist Church, or the Prayer Shaw Ministry in care of the Centenary United Methodist Church.
